Tea Pots
Seward High Ceramic Students recently completed teapots. They were assigned to create a teapot which was unique in some way and they came up with amazing ideas. Here are some of the best!

Value Collages
Seward High art students made value collages, here are some of the best…They began with a photo of their choice. On the photo, they outlined 4 values, beginning with the darkest areas, then the lightest areas, then the 2 values in-between. Then they redrew the image and its value outlines onto a canvas. They treated it like a coloring book, filling in the dark value shapes with dark bits of magazine paper, the light value shapes with light colored paper and so on. This project is tedious, but the result is usually pretty cool. It also allows a lot of freedom with what sort of paper you choose to use, as long as it is the right value, you could use any array of colors and textures to fill the canvas.
